The New 2011 Dodge Durango is built along side of the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Starting production in November 2010 the New Dodge Durango 2011 has a 119,8 inch wheelbase – several inches longer than new Grand Cherokee.

Founded as the Dodge Brothers Company in 1900, Dodge began making own completes vehicles in 1914. Dodge Durango is a full size SUV from Chrysler’s Dodge brand. It was introduced in 1998 .
The new 2011 Durango isn’t as large as full size SUV’s like Chevrolet Tahoe or Toyota Sequoia but it is about the same size as some of the larger crossovers like Ford Flex or GMC Acadia.
The New 2011 Durango’s unibody structure is more than 25 percent stiffer than its predecessor. The end result is a vehicle with crossover versability, SUV capability and performance in a different league than its competitive class. The all new Dodge Durango is available with two powertrains that provide rear-wheel-drive performance and fuel efficiency. The engines available in the new 2011 Dodge Durango include the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 290 horsepower and 5.7-liter HEMI V8 360 horsepower- both engines features variable valve timing.
For 3.6-liter V6 engine, the EPA fuel economy miles per gallon is 16 mpg city and 22 mpg highway. For 5.7-liter V8 engine the EPA fuel economy is 14 mpg city and 20 mpg highway.
Starting at 29.195 $, interior features of 2011 Dodge Durango include: standard tilt/telescoping teering wheel with audio controls, standard tri-zone automatic air conditioning, standard CD stereo with auxiliary input, optional touch-screen audio system with hard drive for storing music, optional auto-dimming rearview mirror. Available safety features include: standard antilock brakes, standard side-impact airbags for the front seats, standard stability sistem, optional rear parking sensors, optional backup camera and optional adaptive cruise control with forward-collision warning.
